I enjoy continuously cutting and sawing through a piece of solid wood, allowing air and light to penetrate, just like when the wind blows through a forest, causing the branches and leaves to sway and produce many sounds. Birds and insects also make sounds in resonance, bringing forth the vitality of life. In the space I cut open, a new arrangement and order are formed, featuring sharp, unstable, asymmetrical, and unsaturated delicate bodies and lines that intersect in a slightly neurotic way. To me, these newly emerged forms are sensual and stimulating. I love the excitement of impossibility; it continuously sharpens my sensitivity, and my instinctual reactions are reflected in my works.
